Varnishes and Spot UV

Paper varnishes can be applied to paper for a variety of textures and is cured, or dried, using ultraviolet light, which is why we refer to it as UV. Varnishes also seal the paper to protect and preserve it. They can be shiny or matte, depending on the look you’re after.

Spot varnish, or spot UV, can be applied to specific elements in your design to draw attention and add emphasis. And with our ability to apply varnish in thicknesses up to 200 microns, you can also use it to add texture.

Embossing

Embossing raises elements on the page to emphasize them and adds texture. This embellishment adds professionalism and elegance to any project. Adding physical depth to the design produces shadows and highlights and creates interest for the eye and fingertips.

Foil

Foil stamping adds metallic material for a piece that shines. It adds a special touch and instant elegance to your print project. It can bring attention to text, logos and other design elements. It’s especially popular for the holidays or special events like weddings.

Combine Embellishments for Greater Impact

These embellishments can be applied together in different combinations to achieve a variety of effects. We can create a realistic water texture that will bring a seascape to life.
